My Answers to KCRG's Election Q&A
September 28, 2026
KCRG-TV9 is putting together a voter guide ahead of the November 3 election. They sent the same seven questions to every candidate for state office in eastern Iowa and my answers went live on Monday, September 28.
Here is what they asked:
- What is your background, and what are your qualifications for state office?
- What is one priority you would work to address if elected?
- How would you improve the educational opportunities of Iowa's children?
- What would you do to reduce Iowa's cancer rate?
- What should the state do about regulating data centers?
- Does Iowa need a statewide framework for automatic license plate reader cameras?
- How will your agenda address the rising cost of living?
I answered every one of them in my own words, explaining my thoughts and reasoning. If you read an answer and think I got something wrong or you want to know more about how I got there, please send me a message. I will personally answer every one!
Thank you to KCRG for giving every candidate the same questions and the same space.
